It is increasingly easy to reach Dornoch and the Northern Highlands of Scotland, whether by air, rail or road.
By Road
Around an hour north by road from Inverness and about a further ten minutes from Inverness Airport. Heading north from Stirling in central Scotland simply follow the A9 the whole way and Dornoch is only a mile off the main route. Enter our postcode, IV25 3LG, into your Sat Nav to get you here.
The drive time from Aberdeen Airport to Dornoch is just over three hours and is just under four hours drive from Edinburgh.
By Air
Inverness Airport is just over an hour from The Royal Golf Hotel in Dornoch and is serviced daily by British Airways from London Heathrow. The flight will depart Heathrow just before 10am returning in the afternoon. Also Easyjet from London Luton. Flights from London Gatwick are direct to Inverness and there are three return flights per day.

By Rail
There are regular trains from throughout the UK travelling to Inverness
Dornoch doesn't have its own railway station anymore but Scotrail operate the North Highland Line from Inverness to Wick and Thurso which stops at Tain and details of the up to date timetables and fares can be found on the Scotrail website.
By Coach
